Sugar Returns Home
Lost pup finds way back to owner

When Deneen Smith came home to find her gate open and her dog, Sugar, missing, she wondered if she would ever see the dog she had raised from a puppy again.

But thankfully, Sugar had ID tags.

The MHS Rescue Team found her wandering a busy street, dodging traffic, and after a brief stop at the MHS Detroit Center for Animal Care, Sugar went back to her forever home the same day. Watch the video and check out her remarkable story!
