Mutt March
Tails are wagging all over our community today! It was inspiring to see so many people and their pets come together for the 2016 Mutt March, to have fun while helping to change animal lives! The efforts of all the generous supporters who walked, raised funds and donated will allow MHS to rescue, care and find loving homes for more than 680 homless animals in need. If you still have donations to turn in, it's not too late. Personal Web Pages will remain active so that supporters can still make contributions. Any off-line donations you receive can be mailed with the off-line donation form to: Michigan Humane Society Every dollar raised will help the Michigan Humane Society care for tens of thousands of animals each year through its lifesaving programs, including: adoption, cruelty investigation, emergency rescue and reuniting lost animals with their families. Every dollar raised will help the Michigan Humane Society care for tens of thousands of animals each year through its lifesaving programs, including: adoption, cruelty investigation, emergency rescue and reuniting lost animals with their families. 167 teams and 818 marchers have raised $102,984.77!
The Mutt March tradition began in 1989 in memory of a well-respected volunteer and board member, Laura Lee Greer, and has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to support the Michigan Humane Society’s many lifesaving programs and services. We hope to see you at the Mutt March!
