We need your help!
On Sunday, June 4th, we will be walking in the Michigan Humane Society Mutt March at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores. This critical fundraiser supports the many important MHS programs and services that benefit tens of thousands of animals each year.
Please give generously!
We have set a goal to raise $384, the average cost to save TWO animals' lives at MHS. Please consider donating in support of my efforts to help homeless, injured and neglected animals in our community.
Every day, dozens of animals arrive at the doors of the Michigan Humane Society with nothing more than hope for a better future. The MHS Cruelty Investigation and Rescue team often finds animals locked up in foreclosed homes, or wandering the streets, scared and hungry. With the economy struggling, it is no question that when people suffer, animals can suffer. But MHS is there to take these animals in, and provide them with food, shelter, medical care and love.
On average, it costs MHS $192 to transform the life of an animal in need. But with no state or federal funding, and no affiliation with any national humane organizations, it is solely the support of the community that keeps the organization going. Please, help me in supporting this critical work that helps homeless animals find warmth, comfort and unconditional love with a forever family.
Thank you for your support!
Any amount you may be able to give will help tremendously - it all adds up! Or, come join us at the Mutt March to show your support for animals in need!
