On Sunday, June 4th, Woody's Walkers & Waggers will be walking in the 2016 MHS Mutt March at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores. This critical fundraiser supports the many important MHS programs and services that benefit tens of thousands of animals each year. Please consider giving in support of the Michigan Humane Society, whose efforts help homeless, injured, neglected and abused animals in our community.
Every day, dozens of animals arrive at the doors of the Michigan Humane Society (MHS) with nothing more than hope for a better future. The MHS Cruelty Investigation and Rescue team often finds animals locked up in foreclosed homes, or wandering the streets, scared and hungry. With the economy struggling, it is no question that when people suffer, animals can suffer. The MHS is there to take these animals in, and provide them with food, shelter, medical care and love.
On average, it costs MHS $192 to transform the life of an animal in need. But with no state or federal funding, and no affiliation with any national humane organizations, it is solely the support of the community that keeps the organization going. Please, help MHS in supporting this critical work that helps homeless animals find warmth, comfort and unconditional love with a forever family.
Please help Woody and his friends give back to this amazing organization. The animals need our support!
Join Kizzie and I for a beautiful walk with your best friend on the grounds of The Edsel and Eleanor Ford House.
Trust us, it's a wonderful experience, one you will never forget.
